Caro grew up in Brazil, where seeing how uneven access and infrastructure shape outcomes pushed her early toward technology as a practical lever for scale. Early on, she gravitated toward environments that put her close to builders, preferring hands-on exposure to how companies are formed, tested, and scaled. Over the past five years, she has built her investing lens through repeated exposure to early stage decision-making, working closely with founders at the moments where capital, product, and execution compound most quickly.
She is currently part of the Watertower Ventures team, where she contributes across the investment lifecycle, including sourcing, diligence, and founder support.
Outside of work, Caro is deeply curious and drawn to new places and cultures. A longtime Anthony Bourdain fan, she values travel as a way to understand people and systems, believes strong relationships are foundational to a well-lived life, and is a sports junkie currently working on improving her tennis game.
Caro holds a degree in Economics from UCLA.
