VENTURESHIP SCOUT

Sydney is an MBA candidate at University of California - Los Angeles, Anderson School of Management.

Sydney is the Founder and Managing Partner of A26 Ventures, an early stage student supported class fund backed by UCLA alumni, students, and friends & family of Anderson. As a result of her work leading A26 Ventures, she was selected for the Entrepreneurship Leadership Development Program (ELDP), appointed as the Director of VC for Anderson’s Entrepreneurship Association (EA), and selected as a Board Fellow by UCLA Anderson’s Center for Impact. A Board Fellow, she’ll sit on Foster Nation's board supporting fundraising, academic development, and mentoring initiatives.

Before starting her MBA, she founded Robert's App, a communications tool for children who have Autism and non-speaking. She continued to develop Robert’s App through UCLA’s Venture Accelerator, Activate. During this time, she also had the privilege to participate in Dorm Room Fund’s Women Investor Track, further developing her knowledge of venture capital. Prior to building Robert's App and enrolling at UCLA, she was Chief of Staff at Bloomberg Beta, an early-stage venture capital fund investing in future-of-work startups.

Sydney has a BA in Psychology from The New School. She is a dedicated Yogi, an avid hiker, and wanderlust traveler. You can usually find her walking on the beach with her very-big-dog, Ludlow!
