Diego D'Sola

VENTURESHIP SCHOLAR

Diego grew up in Caracas, Venezuela. Over the past ten years, he's had the opportunity to live and work in China, Japan, Colombia, and the US. Diego spent seven years as an investment banker at MUFG, most recently in the M&A group covering US private equity clients. One time during a take-private transaction, Diego provided live Mandarin to Spanish translation and advised the CEO of a Mexican conglomerate on how to deal with a Chinese counterpart. Previously, Diego also co-founded TalCual Debates, an online interview platform he ran for five years. He joined the Ventureship Scholars program to learn more about the connected consumer and the venture capital space. Outside of work, Diego enjoys running, reading and kitesurfing.

Diego has a BA in Math/Economics from Fordham University and is currently pursuing a dual MBA/MPA at Wharton and Harvard, respectively.
